Members of the Boy Scouts Pack 61, that meets at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Moorestown, joined together at Care One in Marlton on Friday, Dec. 9 at 6:15 p.m. to sing carols. Additionally, one of the scouts played piano, Care One is provided refreshments to all and Santa made an appearance at the end of the show.

“We all had a wonderful time at Care One Evesham. The residents asked us to go back sooner than next Christmas, so I’ll be contacting Care One to see if we can set up monthly visits,” Tatiana Moreno, the Boy Scouts Pack 61 Public Relations chairperson, said. “Children do bring a lot of joy!”

The program consisted of eight songs for the children to sing. During the refreshment break, the scouts were given the opportunity to interact with Care One residents. The children were also able to explore the facility, play on the billiards table and enjoy milk and cookies. Moreno expressed that it was a wonderful night and an event that the pack plans to repeat next year.
