Wishwall to open in Marlton on Dec. 10 at Evesham Library

Residents can come post their meaningful wishes and possibly have them granted by the Wishwall Foundation.

Those who come to the opening of the new Wishwall in Marlton on Saturday, Dec. 10 will get a free chance for their dreams to come true.

Girl Talk Marlton, a local chapter of the nonprofit international mentoring program for girls, has partnered with The Wishwall Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization and social community, to help collect and grant the wishes of some local residents.

On Dec, 10 the groups are inviting all residents to come post their meaningful wishes, for themselves or someone special, on the new Wishwall at the Evesham library from 12:30 through 4:30 p.m.

During the event there will be entertainment, local celebrities, food, vendors and fun for all. All wishes posted during our event are eligible to come true.

The Wishwall Foundation unveiled its first physical Wishwall with much success last year in Philadelphia and has since granted many wishes.

The Wishwall Foundation is multi-faceted. It consists of The Wishwall Online and The Wishwall in Every City.

The Wishwall Foundation seeks to be a global movement that inspires people and unites humanity through art, fashion, and goodwill. The group is happy to have teamed up with Girl Talk Marlton to make their wish of a Wishwall in their community come true.

Girl Talk Marlton has decided to dedicate this Wishwall in memory of their hometown superstar, Christina Grimmie, who was taken from the town recently in a horrific act of violence.

The Wishwall Mural will be displayed permanently in the library and represent a clear message of hope and peace against violence and hate in the world. This is Girl Talk Marlton’s way of giving back to the local community while helping to promote a positive goodwill movement that the group feels strongly about.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event and write down their meaningful wishes. Only wishes during this event will be eligible to be granted. For those who cannot make this event, there will be a table set up in the library to accept wishes on Sunday, Dec. 11 from 1 through 5 p.m. only. Wishes after this time are to be submitted to www.thewishwall.org
