Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital is calling upon staff, clients and friends of the community to support K-9 heroes by donating an item for the more than 500 military working dogs on duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Items can be dropped off at Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital, 220 Mt. Laurel Road, now through Labor Day.
All those who donate items will be entered into a drawing to win a FitBit.
Donated items, which must be new and unused, include: K9 Cooling Collars, K9 Boots, Medium & Large, K9 Doggles, Collapsible Nylon Dog Bowls, Kong 3” Rubber Balls, Large Rope Chews, K9 Shampoo & Conditioner, K9 Grooming Tools-Combs, Brushes, etc., K9 Nail Clippers, K9 Sleeping Mats, K9 Toothpaste and Toothbrushes, K9 Eye Drops, K9 Ear Wash, K9 Advantix, Flea and Tick Treatment, K9 Salves for paws/noses, Towels to wipe paws. True Chews Chicken Jerky, True Chews Beef Bully Sticks and K9 treats made in the USA only.
Following the end of the fundraiser, a presentation will be made to the US War Dogs Association for all items to be shipped overseas.
