Mosquito spraying to take place overnight in Cherry Hill

Some neighborhoods in the township will be sprayed for mosquitos between the hours of 2 and 6 a.m.

The Camden County Mosquito Commission has scheduled mosquito spraying for some Cherry Hill Township early Thursday morning. Spraying is scheduled on an as needed basis based upon the commission’s surveillance efforts.

“The latest forecast is calling for scattered showers Thursday morning. Even the smallest amount of standing water can allow mosquitoes to thrive. All homeowners should check their yard and remove any standing water to help eliminate the threat,” said Camden County Freeholder Jeff Nash, liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission. “This simple act can help reduce the pest population in your neighborhood, and assist the efforts of the Camden County Mosquito Control Commission.”
