Moorestown begins annual water restrictions

Moorestown is imposing its annual mandatory water restriction.

In a release on Monday, May 16, the restriction will encourage conservation and reduce peak water demand.

Restrictions include a ban on the use of automatic sprinklers and sprinkler systems between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Hand held hoses are still permitted.

Homeowners and business people whose addresses end in an odd number are allowed to water or sprinkle their properties on odd numbered days, while those who have addresses ending in even numbers are permitted to water or sprinkle their properties on even numbered days.
