Medford Police searching for suspect in alleged child luring incident

On Monday, May 16, at approximately 2:45 p.m., an 11-year-old juvenile left Cranberry Pines School on his bicycle traveling east on Fairview Road. An unidentified male subject parked in a black pickup truck on the side of the road commented to the juvenile who was traveling past. The juvenile continued to ride his bicycle and became scared when the vehicle began to slowly follow. After arriving home, the juvenile notified his parent and subsequently contacted police.

Detectives are attempting to identify the subject who was described as a white male in his mid-40s with an almost bald or buzz cut. He was wearing a white t-short with yellow stains and had a double chin and was overweight. The suspect was driving a two-door black pickup truck with a white license plate. The vehicle appeared beat up with no obvious dents or distinguishing marks.

Anyone with information should contact Medford Township Detectives at (609) 654–7511 or the anonymous citizen tip line at (609) 714–0302.
