The Markeim Arts Center is having a fundraiser. On Thursday, May 19 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., come to the PJ Whelihan’s on Haddon Avenue in Westmont and PJs will donate 15 percent of all sales generated to Markeim. This includes drinks, food and take out. Just tell your server you are there to support Markeim or drop your check receipt in one of the Markeim buckets located throughout the restaurant.
The Markeim is a non-profit art center that has been bringing art classes and cultural programming to kids and the South Jersey Region for 60 years. It is able to do what it does, thanks to the support of friends and the community.
