On Sunday May 1, at Virtua in Voorhees, thousands of families and business leaders will join together in the March of Dimes annual March for Babies — the nation’s oldest walk fundraiser honoring babies born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive.
March for Babies, the March of Dimes largest fundraiser, helps fund lifesaving research and educational programs aimed at helping moms have healthy babies. More than 4 million babies were born in the United States last year and the March of Dimes helped each and every one through research, education, vaccines and breakthroughs.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the walk will start at 10 a.m. Fun activities for children will be available such as face painting and more.

The 2016 March for Babies is sponsored nationally by the March of Dimes number one corporate supporter Kmart, Famous Footwear, Macy’s, Cigna, United Airlines, and Mission Pharmacal and locally by Barnabas Health, PSEG, UnitedHealthcare, Virtua, Comcast NBCUniversal, and New Jersey Monthly.
For more than 75 years, moms and babies have benefited from March of Dimes research, education, vaccines, and breakthroughs. Find out more on raising funds to prevent premature birth and birth defects by walking in March for Babies at marchforbabies.org.
