A new program-to-program transfer agreement between Camden County College and Widener University in Chester, Pa., is simplifying the process for those who earn CCC associate in science degrees in business administration to matriculate into Widener’s bachelor of science in business degree program with a major in business management.

Students who want to earn their business management baccalaureate from Widener can save almost $75,000 by attending Camden County College first. Full-time tuition for Widener is about $40,500 annually while full-time tuition for CCC is about $3,200 per year.

Students attending each school for two years would spend about $87,500 on tuition as they completed their bachelor’s degrees. Students attending Widener for all four years would spend approximately $162,000 on tuition.

The agreement guarantees admission into the WU baccalaureate program with junior status to students who complete a mutually agreed-upon curriculum of 60 credits at CCC.

Transferring students must carry a cumulative grade-point average of 2.0 or higher, and any course they want to transfer must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.

Widener is waiving its application fee for all CCC students who apply for admittance under this agreement. In addition, any student transferring to Widener under the CCC agreement will be eligible for financial aid and housing on the same basis as current Widener students.
