The Tabernacle Township Committee experienced some changes at the top during its annual reorganization meeting.
Stephen Lee was appointed by his fellow committeeman as the new mayor for 2016, replacing former mayor Kim Brown who will now be taking over her new role of committeewoman.

Joseph Yates was nominated by the council as the new deputy mayor, replacing former deputy mayor Richard Franzen who will now be a committeeman.
The men were sworn in by oath to commit themselves to performing all of the duties of a township mayor to the best of their abilities.
The new group will hold it’s first meeting of the new year on Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building.
