The Rose Group, a leading franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar and Corner Bakery Cafe restaurants, announced today that participating Corner Bakery Cafe locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey will be giving away free food items for national “holidays” as a way to show appreciation for customers.
This summer, the following “holidays” will be celebrated:
National Senior Citizens Day: Friday, Aug. 21 — In 1988, this day was created to celebrate the wisdom and achievements of senior citizens. To show respect and admiration, senior citizens are invited to enjoy a free soft drink or lemonade from the Corner Bakery Cafe.
“We are always looking for new and exciting ways to show appreciation for our customers,” said Jeff Warden, CEO of The Rose Group. “National ‘holidays’ are used to celebrate nearly everything these days, so we chose to honor the ‘holidays’ that best correlate with Corner Bakery Cafe’s fast-casual style, menu items and loyal patrons. We encourage residents in southeastern Pennsylvania, and south Jersey to come out, celebrate and enjoy some free food.”
Participating locations in New Jersey include Moorestown and Princeton.
