Used books and media sale

Stock up on your summer reading by picking up a few bargains at the used books and media sale being hosted by the Friends of the Burlington County Library, Inc. June 4 to June 7 at the County Library in Westampton.

Shoppers will find approximately 5,000 books for sale, mostly donated, plus an extensive collection of audio books on disc/tape, CDs, DVDs, CD-ROMS, and puzzles.

Held in the library’s meeting room, the sale will be held Thursday, June 4 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, June 7 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In addition, a preview sale will be offered to members of the Friends group only on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Become a Friends’ member at the door for $15 per person, $20 per family, or $10 per senior or senior family.)

Once again, a wide selection of gently-used books, both fiction and non-fiction, will be available, including children’s books, and books about business, hobbies, crafts, biographies, music, self-help, religion, science, art, travel, cooking, and more. Sorted by category, most books will be priced at 50 cents to $1 each. There will also be some specially priced books for sale, including oversized art and coffee table books.

Also available will be music CDs and CD-ROMS for $1 each, books on CD and movie DVDs for $2 each, andpuzzles for $1 to $2 each.

All proceeds benefit Burlington County Library programming, such as the upcoming Summer Sunset Concert Series, and children and adult reading programs. The County Library is located on Pioneer Boulevard off Woodlane Road in Westampton. For more information, call (609) 267–9660.
