Burglary in Medford
On April 19, between 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., the Medford Police investigated multiple burglaries to vehicles throughout Medford Township. Police were first dispatched to the Lake Pine Colony Club where two vehicles were entered by force. Both vehicles had the passenger side windows broken. Victim 1 (2012 Honda Fit) had a green leather purse stolen. Within the purse was a gray Anthropology wallet and two gifts cards totaling a loss of $220.00. Victim 2 (2014 Honda CRV) had a black suede Michael Kors purse stolen. Included within the purse was a Gray Coach wallet totaling a loss of $350.00
Police were next dispatched to 235 Hartford Road, the parking lot of Lenape H.S. where two more vehicles were burglarized. Both vehicles had forced entry by breaking the passenger side windows. Victim 3 (2013 Ford Escape) had a tan purse taken. Within the purse was an iPhone 5 and $10.00 of cash for a loss totaling $200.00. Victim 4 (2013 Subaru Legacy) had a tan purse stolen. Within the purse was $9.00 for a loss totaling $109.00.
Police were then dispatched to 201 Hartford Road, MYAA Softball Complex, for a report of an additional vehicle burglarized. Entry was gained by breaking a driver side window. Victim 5 (2008 Honda Odyssey) had a Coach purse and a Garmin GPS stolen for a loss totaling $800.00.
