What a disappointment. If the team of Schallenhammer and Stahl are elected and serve the residents as well as the campaign that they have produced…Voorhees residents will be in trouble.
They start with the ludicrous claim that the incumbents ‘have never been faced with life-saving decisions!’
Really? Tom Hanney and Barb Silary have efficiently and effectively administered our fire commission for a number of years.
Tom and Barb have effectively staffed both professional and volunteers, maintained excellent fire service to all Voorhees residents, and done so with a stable tax rate. That has saved lives.
Hanney and Silary have professionally managed a serious situation that threatened the construction of the new fire station.
Would Schallenhammer and Stahl produce that high level of actual results?
Schallenhammer and Stahl show a continued level of lack of understanding in what a Fire Commissioner’s responsibility is by claiming: ‘Our opponents have no fire experience’! Schallenhammer and Stahl must think that Fire Commissioners ride on the trucks and put out fires.
No John and Andrew…Fire Commissioners administer the Fire Department.
Hanney and Silary have years of experience doing just that. They have efficiently budgeted our fire service, successfully administered the fire staff, brilliantly managed the assets of equipment and facilities, and solved the problems of building a new fire station.
Also, Hanney and Silary have not had your campaign’s unsupported false claims of ‘back room deals’ and ‘wasteful spending’.
The Schallenhammer and Stahl campaign is a major disappointment and on Saturday, Feb. 21, Voorhees residents can reject their poor campaign by joining me in voting to continue the best fire service by fire professionals and dedicated fire volunteers by voting for Tom Hanney and Barb Silary as our Fire Commissioners.
John and Andrew did do one thing correct…they ask you to vote for the fire budget that continues tax stability and proper funding of the Voorhees Fire Service. That’s the Budget that Tom Hanney and Barb Silary produced.
