The following information was provided by the Medford Township Police Department.
On Jan. 12 at about 9 a.m., police responded to 1 Medford Leas Way for a report of a burglary to a vehicle. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim who reported that $40 was removed from her purse that was located on the front passenger seat of her unlocked vehicle. Further investigation revealed that a 25-year-old woman from Pemberton entered the victim’s vehicle and removed money from the victim’s purse.
After being interviewed by the police, the Pemberton woman was arrested and charged with burglary and theft. She was later released after being processed, pending a court appearance.
