The Tutoring Club of Cherry Hill/Voorhees is proud to celebrate ten years in business this month. In the past decade, Tutoring Club has helped over 5000 South Jersey students achieve success in daily schoolwork, basic reading, writing, math and study skills and SAT and ACT preparation. Highly experienced and dedicated tutors work with students from pre-kindergarten to college level.
“Following our students’ progress and knowing that we contributed to their success is the true reward,” said Alan Cohen, Tutoring Club owner and director.
In addition to providing tutoring in all subjects for all ages, Tutoring Club is an active participant in Cherry Hill/Voorhees community activities. As a member of the community, Tutoring Club has initiated a number of programs to benefit local students and student organizations. For the past eight years Tutoring Club has hosted over 75 SAT and ACT fundraisers and raised over $40,000 for local school organizations. For the past six years, Tutoring Club has given college scholarships to deserving Eastern Regional High School students. It has also been a strong supporter of numerous sports, theater and music programs at many local schools, an active participant in local business and networking organizations, and also active with many charities.
Cohen, a recipient of the Voorhees Businessperson of the Year Award in 2009 said, “We feel privileged to be able to contribute to the South Jersey community in so many positive ways. We want to thank all of those who have supported us and entrusted us with their children and their academic future.”
