1 dead in Route 38 building collapse

Officials confirm one person is dead after a building suddenly collapsed around 12:30 p.m. at a demolition site at the Cherry Hill Shopping Center on RouteĀ 38.

According to Camden County spokesman Dan Keashan, the Cherry Hill Fire Department is currently in the process of recovering the body of the deceased.

All other employees at the site were accounted for.

The site is an old Blockbuster video store currently under demolition, set to become a new Super WawaĀ store.
