Cherry Hill to celebrate ‘Healthy Town’ designation at ceremony

Join Cherry Hill Mayor Chuck Cahn and the members of Council at 5:30 p.m. today to celebrate Cherry Hill’s designation as a New Jersey Healthy Town for 2014 and officially announce the first-ever Cherry Hill Restaurant Week.

Festivities begin at 5:30, when Cahn will host a special low-impact aerobics class open to all Cherry Hill residents on the lawn of the Carman Tilelli Community Center. A ceremonial dedication of Cherry Hill’s official “Healthy Town” sign and remarks from Cahn will follow. The event will also promote July’s National Parks & Recreation Month events in Cherry Hill.
