Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has appointed Dr. Andrew Pecora as medical director. In his new position, Dr. Pecora will oversee medical activities and patient care for the hospice, palliative care and oncology home care programs of the agency. He joins a team that also includes Dr. Paul Stone, current associate medical director of The Hospice of Moorestown VNA.
A Philadelphia native, Dr. Pecora is also owner/president/medical director of Renaissance Men’s Health, and medical director for CareOne at Moorestown, Sub Acute Rehab. He is a graduate of Ursinus College (1984) and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (1990). He completed his medical internship and residency at UMDNJ/SAM. Dr. Pecora is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has appointed Denise McCoy of Cherry Hill as home care project coordinator. In her new position, McCoy will connect with physician’s groups and practices to offer services and education focusing on health care in the home setting.
McCoy is a 7-year veteran of the industry and previously represented lifestyle and health programs for a national healthcare, rehab, and nursing home organization. Her focus at Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association is to help create an enhanced understanding of health care at home, and how it can assist in recovery for patients during or following illness or injury.
