Police continued to canvas the area and discovered a disabled motor vehicle on Tuckerton Road near Marquette Drive Police believed the vehicle had run out of gas and the driver attempted to put diesel fuel into the vehicle further rendering it inoperable.

Police also noted that one of the victims on Tallowood reported an exterior diesel fuel container on their property had been tampered with, thus making the operator of this vehicle a likely suspect. A search warrant was obtained and evidence, including drug paraphernalia, weapons and proceeds from one of the burglaries, was recovered from the vehicle. Detectives later located the operator who was identified as a 33-year-old male of Shamong Township. A second suspect was identified as a 26-year-old male from Medford.

Detectives were able to recover most of the stolen items. The 33-year-old was charged with 11 counts of burglary, 4 counts of theft, the unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail in lieu of cash bail set at $55,000.

The 26-year-old was charged with receiving stolen property and released pending a future court date.
