Moorestown Police Department seek public assistance in bank robbery

Moorestown Police were dispatched to the report of a bank robbery at the Susquehanna Patriot Bank, 501 S. Lenola Rd. on Oct. 30 at 11:34 am.

While enroute, responding officers were advised that a lone white male wearing a light gray baseball type hat with Philadelphia Eagles logo, Black Hooded Sweatshirt, gray pants, and dark colored sneakers had left the scene on foot towards Kings Highway.

There were no injuries to employees or patrons of the bank. The subject was further described as in his 20’s, approximately 6 foot tall, stocky build, with scruffy facial hair. The subject presented a note to a teller demanding cash threatening that he had put an explosive device in a trash can. The subject fled with an as yet to be determined amount of currency.

Moorestown Police were assisted in the investigation by a K9 unit from Medford Police, and officers from neighboring Mt. Laurel and Maple Shade Police Departments.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Moorestown Police Detectives at 914–3092 or the FBI Newark Division at (973) 792–3000.
