Caribbean-themed Farmers Market tomorrow
The summer months are winding down, but Voorhees Town Center is continuing to celebrate the beautiful weather with its last Caribbean-themed Farmers Market on Aug. 10.
Vendors wearing leis and Caribbean shirts will serve Jersey Fresh produce including fruits, vegetables, exotic produce and herbs; locally produced wines; fresh baked breads; and fresh pasta. As they stroll among the festively decorated stands, shoppers will enjoy live entertainment by a steel drum band. There will also be fun activities for children including sidewalk chalk art, balloon artist creations, and playtime with the Children’s Discovery Museum.
“The Farmers Market is the perfect place to pick up your Jersey Fresh favorites and Jersey wine for a summer barbeque, shore house meal, or a tasty beach snack,” said Jessica Saphire, Voorhees Town Center marketing director.
The market is located on Town Center Boulevard outside Catelli Duo and Elena Wu restaurants and is open every Saturday until Oct. 5, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. to noon. Shoppers can find ample parking each week outside the mall and behind the restaurants.
