On Feb. 18 at 8:48 p.m., Medford police responded to CVS on Stokes Road for report of a theft. Upon arrival, police were met by loss prevention who advised that a pharmacy tech for the company had stolen 15 bottles, or 1,500 pills of phentermine over the course of the last six months. The total loss was valued at $1,919.85. Following police investigation, the suspect was charged, given a summons and released pending court.
