The Mt. Laurel Township Council met on Monday, Feb. 7 to honor four Mt. Laurel Fleetwood Indians Football Teams, as well as review and adopt agenda items.
At Monday’s meeting, Council adopted a resolution to request a transfer of elevator inspections from the state to Mt. Laurel.
At last month’s work session meeting, Council discussed the proposal to transfer inspections. Currently, the state hires a third party to do the inspections in the township. Mayor Jim Keenan said switching the elevator inspections from the state to the township would shore up about $13,000 in revenue for the township.
Be sure to check back here and in next week’s print edition for more information on the meeting.
