‘Touchdown! Spike!’ Seneca’s volleyball, football team compete for Operation Yellow Ribbon

The high-energy charity game brought out laughs — and some jeers — from both teams as they took their skills, or lack thereof, to the volleyball court on Nov. 20.

Seneca High School’s varsity volleyball and football players hosted a charity volleyball game against one another for Operation Yellow Ribbon, a nonprofit that provides care packages to soldiers overseas and their families.

Students and other spectators brought in donations of non-perishable foods and cash all night to support the initiative and watched an energetic game of volleyball between the two sport teams.
