A Gloucester Township man was arrested and charged in connection with a double stabbing that occurred in Winslow Township on Aug. 17.
Winslow Township Police responded to reports of a stabbing that occurred at a residence located on Heywood Lane in Sicklerville in Winslow Township at approximately 9:40 p.m. When officers arrived, they located two victims who appeared to have been suffering from stab wounds. The victims, a 26-year-old female and a 24-year-old male who are brother and sister, were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Dominic Fagnani, 23, of Blackwood, was taken to the Winslow Township Police Department. He was charged with attempted murder, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Winslow Township Police Chief George Smith on Aug. 18. He was also charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Fagnani was processed at Winslow Township Police Department and then transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing.
The identities of the victims are not being released and no further information is being released at this time.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
