South Church Street was closed for nearly all of Friday morning after a tractor-trailer toppled over the Interstate-295 overpass.
The incident occurred just after 3 a.m., according to the Mt. Laurel Police. The tractor-trailer in question was involved in an accident prior to falling onto the roadway.
The accident shut down two lanes on Interstate-295 north, causing delays. South Church Street was still closed as of 10:45 a.m. as cleanup crews continued to clear the scene of the accident. The New Jersey State Police is investigating the incident.
