Jan. 10
- Ptl. Riepen arrested a subject during a motor vehicle stop for outstanding warrants. They were placed in the Gloucester County Jail.
- Units responded to a tractor-trailer that had passed under some low hanging wires and pulled them from a few buildings.
- Officers took a report for shoplifting that had occurred at the Lowes store.
- Officers located an unsecured door at the old Kmart building and checked the interior with the assistance of Ptl. Riepen and his K-9 partner, Bane.
- Officers assisted a Wenonah resident with an escort to their property.
- Officers responded to a crash on Main Street, just south of Center Street in which one vehicle collided into the rear of another.
- A resident called 911 because her dog got loose and would not come back to her when she called it.
- Officers investigated a theft of a utility trailer from Heritage Road.
- Units responded to a crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Tylers Mill Road in which there was one person with a reported head injury.
Jan. 11
- Ptl. Crispin conducted an MV stop and arrested the driver for DUI. The driver refused to take a breath test and was charged accordingly.
- Units assisted a motorist at the Heritage store that had locked their keys in their car.
- Officers took a harassment complaint in which the victim is being harassed by their ex’s new girlfriend.
- Officers responded to a neighbor complaint in Wenonah in which one neighbor was blowing their leaves onto his property.
Jan. 12
- Officers were dispatched to look for a “large flying object with no sound” that was heading towards Wenonah. We could not find anything.
- Officers responded to a crash in the 600 Block of Bridgeton Pike.
- Officers conducted their monthly car seat safety event at the Mantua Fire Department.
- Officers took a criminal mischief report in which a window was broken from a BB gun in Wenonah.
- Units responded to a crash on Berkley Road near Old Landing Road in which one vehicle needed to be towed.
- Officers responded to a juvenile that was being threatened on social media.
- Units responded to a noise complaint at midnight for a large party. The party was broken up and the noise was silenced.
Jan. 13
- Patrols responded to a vehicle that had struck a pole on Heritage Road and needed to be towed.
- Patrols responded to a crash on Glassboro Road near the Lowes store.
- Officers assisted a victim with obtaining a restraining order against their spouse.
- Patrols responded to a vehicle that had struck a pole on Center Street in the area of New Street.
- Patrols responded to a crash on Route 55 until the state police could respond.
- Units responded to a family dispute in which the child called to report their parents were arguing.
- Officers took a criminal mischief report in which the victim’s vehicle was scratched.
- Units responded to an overdose in which the patient was found unconscious in a bathroom.
Jan. 14
- Officers were given a wallet that was found at Dunkin Donuts and were able to return it to the owner.
- Units responded to a crash on Mt. Royal Road in the area of Bridgeton Pike.
- Units assisted the Logan Township Police Department with a subject that had taken two females hostage in their jurisdiction.
- Officers responded to a shoplifting at the Target store.
- Officers responded to a hunting complaint in the area of Bridgeton Pike and Heritage Road.
- Officers came across a dining room table on Lambs Road and removed it from the travel lanes.
- Units conducted foot patrol in the Target and Lowes shopping centers.
- Units responded to a crash in which a vehicle struck a deer on Lambs Road.
- A female turned herself in because she had a warrant for her arrest. She posted bail and was released.
- Ptl. Krieger conducted a stop of a pedestrian on Glassboro Road and found the subject to have an active warrant for his arrest. He was processed and released.
Jan. 15
- Units responded to a domestic dispute between a couple. An argument started over a cell phone conversation and the phone was damaged and the male was charged with domestic assault.
- Officers took a crash report in the parking lot of the Super Wawa.
- Officers responded to a minor crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Tylers Mill Road
- Officers followed up with the shoplifting from the Target store from Jan. 14 and were able to identify the accused.
- Officers responded to a three-vehicle crash at Route 45 and Heritage Road. The fire department needed to extricate one driver and two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
- The parents of a juvenile found disturbing content on their daughter’s Instagram account and wanted to speak to officers regarding it.
- Officers assisted with traffic while the fire department investigated a burning smell at the PetSmart store.
Jan. 16
- Ptl. Schnarr conducted a follow up to a harassment complaint at the Planet Fitness gym.
- Officers took a missing person report for a subject that is elderly and went to the wrong ShopRite and has not been seen for a few hours.
- Officers took a report for a lost driver’s license and the victim found it 15 minutes later in their pocket.
- Officers responded to a residence where the homeowner thought they heard someone walking upstairs. We checked the house and did not find anyone that did not belong there.
- Officers took a crash report where a vehicle struck three deer on Heritage Road.
