Mantua is grieving the loss of Sgt. Russ Lawrence, car No. 1504, who passed away over Labor Day weekend. It was said “you could run from the cops statewide, but if you made it to Mantua – and Sgt Russ Lawrence was working – you weren’t making it out.” He is survived by two sons, Russ and retired investigator Ray Lawrence.
