Mantua school district collecting items for area veterans

The district is looking to the community for help; the drive ends soon

Mantua Township schools are looking for the help of the community to help veterans in need. For the third consecutive year, each grade in the district is collecting items for veterans; the items will be delivered to Veterans Haven in Hammonton. The drive ends at the end of February.

Items suitable for donation are normal, everyday things. Such as twin-sized bed sheets, bath towels, pillows, t-shirts, jeans, umbrellas, small waste baskets and more are acceptable. The schools are also collecting arts and craft/recreational items such as coloring books, paint and fishing poles.

Items can be donated at J. Mason Tomlin school.
