Scholarships awarded to Clearview and Kingsway students

Press release issued by Raines Dental

Raines Dental LLC, a full service practice providing comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry in Mullica Hill, announces its Raines Dental Scholarship Program for students at Clearview Regional High School and Kinsgway Regional High School. Graduating seniors are challenged to write a 500-word essay that speaks to their biggest accomplishment in high school and why they are so proud of it. One winner from each senior class will earn a $500.00 scholarship towards his or her college or associates degree. Essays are due June 1 and awardees will be announcement in the middle of the month. In addition to receiving the financial contribution, Raines Dental Scholarship Program winners will be highlighted on a Wall of Recognition in the practice office.

“Graduating high school is such a great time in everyone’s life as we take a step into the big world. It is a time of celebration and so much more,” says practice owner, Jason Raines, DDS.

“This year I wanted to do something more than congratulate seniors but recognize star achievers for their efforts and support them on the road that lies ahead. I look forward to reading the essays and getting to know the participants through their writings. The goal is to have this become an annual program to celebrate our future.”

The Raines Dental Scholarship Program is the most recent effort Dr. Raines has implemented or supported to help others. Such efforts have included Pink Wednesdays, Access to Care as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, Give Kids a Smile, Dentistry From the Heart and “Take Mom to the Dentist” form Mother’s Day.
