Freedom Barks Dog Park announces volunteer, fundraiser events

The events will be held on May 18 and 20.

Freedom Barks Dog Park is having their Spring PUP Day at Freedom Park in Medford on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are in need of volunteers to help pick up debris and make repairs to keep the park enjoyable for everyone. Volunteers should meet in front of the bulletin board in the Blue Squirrel Field, with gloves and plenty of energy. If you cannot volunteer, please stop by their merchandise table and check out their new T-shirts. To see what is happening at the park, join their Freedom Barks Dog Park Facebook page. Rain date will be held Sunday, May 19.

At P.J. Whelihan’s in Medford Lakes, on Monday, May 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., 15 percent of every check will be donated directly to the dog park with a mention of Freedom Barks to your server.
