The public is invited to attend “Musical Memories,” a free concert by The Moorestown Community Band, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, at William Allen Middle School, 801 N. Stanwick Road, Moorestown. L. Bruce Smith conducts the band, which includes many members from Delran.
The concert will include a varied program of well-known “oldie” pops, classical, Broadway, marches and patriotic music. “Oh, Danny Boy,” “1812 Overture,” “The Bohemian Rhapsody” and songs of The Beach Boys are a few examples of what’s on the program. In addition, the Jazz Band will play “Moon River,” “Satin Doll” and “Guantanamera.”
