The website will list available jobs, updated every two weeks
A listing of available jobs in the region will be listed on the Gloucester County’s Workforce Development website and the list will be updated every two weeks.
Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger said that the number of companies in the region looking to hire is increasing every week.
“We are seeing a lot of growth in every area, and we work with our businesses by helping them promote their openings,” Damminger said. “One of the major reasons that so many employers call Gloucester County home is their ability to hire great employees.”
Freeholder Heather Simmons, liaison to the Department of Economic Development, said that posting the jobs on line is another way to keep employers hiring county residents in between job fairs.
“We work with our residents and our businesses throughout the year, whether it be through job fairs, training workshops or other resources to help our businesses grow and expand, and for our residents to obtain quality employment,” Simmons said. “It is a very exciting time to see things really taking off.”
The job listings can be found here, clicking on “Current Job Openings.”
Through the Gloucester County’s Workforce Development’s American Job Center residents can also find information on how to search for a job, how to get assistance in creating a resume, how to prepare for an interview and much more.
