The Blackwood man was wanted for violation of probation and assault by auto.
A resident of Blackwood and No. 6 on the Gloucester County Sheriff Carmel Morina’s Top Ten Most Wanted list, was located and arrested on Friday, Aug. 11.
The Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit arrested the fugitive at Cooper Medical in Washington Township. He was wanted for violation of probation, and his original charge was assault by auto. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility.
“Our Fugitive Unit is working everyday looking for fugitives,” Sheriff Morina said. “Our unit has a group of well trained detectives that will find those who are supposed to be facing justice. We partner with other agencies to get criminals off of the streets to keep the residents of Gloucester County safe.”

To date, the Sheriff’s Office has apprehended 157 off the Sheriff’s Top Ten Most Wanted list.
