The Washington Township High School Monthly Rewind team recently had a chance to go behind the scenes at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Washington Township High School graduate and Philadelphia Phillies employee Mike Licisyn gives a tour of the team’s production facilities to WTHS Monthly Rewind students.

Monthly Rewind is a variety program produced by students in Marty Bouchard’s advanced telecommunications classes. One of Bouchard’s former students, Mike Licisyn, works for the Phillies, and he set up a tour of the production and broadcast facilities for the WTHS students.

The Monthly Rewinders chat with Phillies public address announcer Dan Baker.

The group was able to see how game production is done, had a question-and-answer session with broadcaster Scott Palmer, met stadium public address announcer Dan Baker and chatted with former Phillie and TV announcer Gary Matthews.
