Free wound care program at Heggan Library on March 6

Jefferson Health’s Dr. Brian Smeal will host event at 3 p.m.

Join Dr. Brian Smeal, medical director of the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Jefferson Health’s Washington Township campus, for a free program about wound care at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, at the Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library, 606 Delsea Drive, Sewell.

Wounds can cause great discomfort and often put those living with a wound “out of commission” for a while. Attendees will learn how to help heal wounds as quickly as possible so they can get back to living their “regular” life!

The free program, “What Not to Put on Your Wound,” is sponsored by Jefferson Health — New Jersey’s PrimeTime, a free health and wellness program for active older adults in South Jersey. The event is open to all community members.
