Washington Township Public Schools will operate under an early dismissal schedule in advance of the forecasted winter storm on Wednesday, March 7. The district will continue to monitor the weather, and may close if the forecast changes. That decision would be made in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
Additionally, Wednesday afternoon preschool sessions will be closed, the Kids Choice p.m. program will be closed, and all after-school activities are cancelled. The p.m. childcare program at WTHS will close at 2:30 p.m.
In addition, the Washington Township Schools have postponed some events scheduled for Wednesday evening.
The “Kindred Spirits” Early Childhood Education Workshop will be rescheduled for Thursday, March 15 at 5 p.m., with registration at 4:30, at Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center.
The Middle School World Language Fair will be rescheduled for Wednesday, March 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Cafeteria C/D in the nine-10 wing of WTHS.
