Tony L. Davis of Camden has been arrested on charges of engaging in human trafficking with a 22-year-old woman at a Washington Township motel.
A complaint signed June 14 against Davis by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office accuses him of forcing the woman to engage in sex acts with others in exchange for payment “while causing her to believe she would suffer serious bodily harm if she did not comply.” This is said to have occurred on diverse dates in September 2017.
A second count to the complaint accuses Davis of criminal coercion.
The charges were signed following a seven month investigation by the GCPO. Davis is presently incarcerated in the federal prison system on an unrelated offense.
