Tree of Lights remembrance celebration Nov. 15

Press release from Jefferson Health

Area residents have the opportunity to honor, remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have battled cancer and/or gone through dialysis treatment by symbolically illuminating a light and placing an ornament on Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center — Washington Township’s annual “Tree of Lights” celebration, this year set for Thursday, Nov. 15.

The Tree of Lights Remembrance Celebration is set for 5 p.m. at the Cancer Center located at 900 Medical Center Drive, Sewell. The event includes music, light refreshments and a tree lighting ceremony, where honorees’ names are recited aloud.

A $5 donation to benefit the Patient Assistance Funds of either the Cancer Center or Dialysis Centers provides community members the opportunity to hang an ornament on the “Tree of Lights” during the name-reciting portion of the program.

For more information, to donate or to register visit KennedyisJefferson.org/treeoflights, or call Kelly Hageman at (856) 566–5315.
