The students spent the day viewing a Broadway show, attending workshops and performing a Time Square flash mob
It was an action-packed day in the Big Apple for members of the Chestnut Ridge Middle School Drama Club on Saturday, May 13.
The group, under the direction of advisor Rob Scardino, ventured to New York City to see “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” on Broadway and then attended a workshop where the students learned a song and choreography from the show and had a question-and-answer session with two members of the cast.
The students then “flash-mobbed” the finale of their recent production of “Rock of Ages” for passers-by in Times Square before enjoying dinner in the city.
