GCCC’s anniversary features Aaron Shust and a “Summer Bash”
Gloucester County Community Church celebrates 35 years of ministry and community service with events for the entire family on July 14 and 16.
The celebration begins with a free concert by Aaron Shust and his band on Friday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. Over the past decade, Shust has earned a reputation as one of Christian music’s most compelling songwriters as a vocalist with depth and passion. He was named both New Artist and Songwriter of the Year at the 2007 Dove Awards and his song “My Savior, My God” was recognized as Song of the Year. He is one of the Christian community’s most creative and trusted voices, with such hits as “My Hope is in You,” “No One Higher” and “Ever Be.” He will be sharing songs from his most recent album, “Love Made A Way.”
GCCC will host a Summer Bash on July 16 starting at 10:30 a.m. The event includes water slides, trampolines, pony rides, face painting, a dunk tank, volleyball and food. The day will conclude with an outdoor concert at 3:30 p.m. featuring artists from the area. Everyone in the community is invited to this free event.
