Dr. Christine Harrington will present a comprehensive model of effective transition planning that can be implemented in the school setting with emphasis on starting this process in the middle school.
The program is sponsored by the Voorhees Special Services Department in conjunction with the Voorhees Special Education Parent Advisory Council, and will be held Monday, Jan. 25, 6:45 to 9 p.m., at Voorhees Middle School Lecture Hall, 1000 Holly Oak Road.
Christine Harrington, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who has extensive counseling experience with students who have disabilities and their family members. Her areas of expertise are learning and psychiatric disabilities and she is passionate about fostering resilience and positive mindsets.
