Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice looking for volunteers

The organization is seeking patient/family-support volunteers.

Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice is looking for patient/family-support volunteers.

According to the organization, patient/family-support volunteers visit Samaritan patients and families in their homes, at Samaritan’s inpatient hospice centers in Mt. Holly and Voorhees or in long-term care facilities.

Officials say the volunteers support Samaritan patients and their family caregivers through companionship, chatting, reading, watching TV, listening to music, playing games and sharing stories.

To learn more about becoming a patient/family-support for Samaritan, contact Sharon Wenner through phone at (856) 552–3238 or by email at [email protected].

Those interested can also visit Samaritan’s website to learn more about becoming a volunteer.
