Third quarter tax bill update

Burlington County will not be discussing their budget until August 22, and until the budget is passed, a tax rate cannot be struck. At this point in time, an estimate of when bills might be sent out could be during the month of September.

A 25 day grace period will be given from the date of mailing, however, residents are being reminded that taking advantage of this grace period will result in a deadline in October.

The fourth quarter bills will be owed November 1st and failure to make payment of all the tax amount by November 13th will result in an automatic tax sale status resulting in additional penalty and advertising fees.

Residents that wish to make an estimated third quarter payment are encouraged to do so and this credit will be reflected when you receive your tax bill. If there is an outstanding amount still owed, you will have the extended 25 day grace period from the date of mailing to make this payment.
