Valenzano Winery to host Mother’s Day event
In celebration of Mother’s Day, Valenzano Winery will be hosting an outdoor gathering at the Courtyard & Vintner’s Pavilion.
Live entertainment will be on stage and plenty of room for relaxing in the courtyard and watching the grapes grow.
Best of Show Catering will be offering a brunch buffet for $15 per person.
A variety of crafters and other vendors will be selling their wares.
The tasting room at 1090 Route 206 will be closed during this event. The Mother’s Day Wine Trail Weekend is at the Old Indian Mills Road location.
The event is weather permitting.
If it rains, the events at the Vintner’s Pavilion will be canceled and re-open the tasting room at 1090 Route 206.
Youth Group pancake breakfast May 4
Join the Tabernacle United Methodist Church for the Escape Middle School Youth Group Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 4 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Guests can choose from plain and blueberry pancakes, toppings, biscuits and sausage gravy, fruit salad, breakfast meats, coffee, tea and juices.
Help the youth group earn enough money to attend the Creation Festival in June.

Senior High Mission Team to hold car wash
The Senior High Mission Team will be hosting a car wash and bake sale at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1 Winchester Court in Tabernacle, off of Tabernacle Road on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. until noon.
All proceeds will go toward the Hurricane Sandy Relief trip the group will be taking the last week of June.
