On Saturday March 22, the Seneca Chamber Singers participated in Roxbury High School’s 24th Annual Choir Invitational. Schools from all over the East Coast competed in several categories of vocal music, including concert choir, pop and show choir, solo classical vocal and solo theater vocal.
For the second year in a row, Seneca earned a gold rating in the concert choir division, with senior Emily Polashek earning the award of “Outstanding Soloist In A Choral Piece.”
In the soloist division, Seneca is proud to announce that junior Nate Butler took first place in the solo theater competition, earning the title of “Grand Champion”, a first for a Seneca student at Roxbury.
