Family and Consumer Science teacher Suzanne Arfuso is being celebrated as Seneca High School’s March Teacher of the Month. Arfuso is described by colleagues as an integral part of Seneca, someone who “exemplifies what Seneca family really means. Her heart and passion for the FCS curriculum is evident in everything she does. Creating engaging lessons that connect students to real life situations and develop skills that will be used all throughout life.”
The Employee of the Month Panel also described Arfuso as someone who not only goes above and beyond for each student that walks into her classroom, but also someone who works hard to support the rest of the Seneca staff. “When a fellow coworker had to be of school for an extended period, Susanne rearranged her schedule and courses to help ensure all the classes were covered and that students could continue their projects without interruption, getting the most out of their classes.”
