The officer received help from a narcotics detection dog, Ace.
On Thursday, May 4 at 11:13 a.m., Cinnaminson Township Police Department officer Michael Curran stopped a vehicle on Route 130 for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, officer Curran deployed his K-9 Ace, a narcotics detection dog. Ace indicated that there were narcotics in the vehicle and a search was conducted. Officers discovered 145 bags of suspected heroin.
Raul Galindez-Diaz, 31, of Camden, was arrested without incident. He was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession with Intent to Distribute. He was lodged in Burlington County Jail.
