The Burning Bowl Ceremony is a transformative ritual performed among various groups on New Year’s Eve.
The purpose of this ceremony is to identify and release the thoughts, behaviors or feelings that may hold you back in the coming year.
During the month of January, please stop into the Riverton branch and write down what you would like to release from your life. The library will have a ceremonial dissolving at the end of the month.
Since the library cannot burn paper, they have come up with their own take on this ceremony by dissolving these thoughts and feelings away.
